Restaurants and patisserie in Atami – Oishii Japanese food-

Written by on 2016/04/08

You can have 500yen Kaisendon (Seafood bowl) at a restaurant ‘Maguroya’.

Why so cheap?
Because a fishing company runs this restaurant. They provide many kinds of seafood bowls.
When you get to Atami station, you might be hungry, so rush to Maguroya!

If you love Yakitori (Grilled Chicken), I recommend you to go to Hyonari.

The owner is an old married couple. They served us Yakitori set.

This plate is for 3 people. Each can eat 6 types of Yakitori.
My friends ordered 2 more types of Yakitori and I ordered Nori-chazuke (Rice with tea and seaweed).

‘KICHI+’ is a stylish restaurant where you can have Nama-shirasu-don (Raw whitebait bowl).

We normally eat boiled shirasu at home, and we can only eat fresh raw shirasu near the sea.
That’s why this restaurant is always crowded with people who love to eat Nama-shirasu!
You have a choice whether to eat only nama-shirasu, or with boiled shirasu, or with boiled shirasu and sakura shrimp.
My favourite one is ‘San-syoku-don’, which means ‘3 colours bowl’.
It contains raw and boiled shirasu, and sakura shrimp.

I’ve already been to this patisserie 4 times since I have moved to Atami in February!

Mont Blanc makes really tasty cakes and pies.

Mille-feuille is my favourite!
You can eat the cakes at the shop. Try them!
