Shinkansen from JR Kyoto Station
First take Hikari Super Express bound for Tokyo(東京), then change trains at Mishima(三島) to Kozama Super Express bound for Tokyo(東京).
It takes about 2.5 hours and 11,340JPY.

The easiest way to get to our hostel is to take a cab from JR Atami station.
It only takes about 5 minutes and cost roughly 700 yen.
Therefore, I would highly recommend for you to take a taxi, especially, if you have big luggage with you. Please show this sentence below to taxi drivers.

How to take a bus (PDF)

1. When you arrive at Atami station, there is a bus station on your left side.
Please turn left and go straight until you find the bus station.

2. Please keep straight and soon you will find the bus terminal.

3. Take bus number 4 or number 8 (bus number 8 is unavailable on every Thursday) and please get off at MaeYamada (前山田)bus stop. (170yen/ one way)

4. Once you arrive at “MaeYamada bus stop, go back about 30 meters.

5. Soon you will find our sign “Khaosan Atami”.
Please keep straight, you are almost there.
